Crusaders Win North South Bowl at ECC Tournament

The Central Maryland Christian Crusaders competed in the Eastern Christian Conference Championship Tournament on November 5th 2016 at the Quantico Marine Corps Base Butler Field. The Crusaders faced off against the North Wake Saints from Winston Salem NC. IT was a hard fought game but the Crusaders came out on top 26-12. The Crusaders had touchdowns from Josh Lewis and Devin Williams and the team played well. The defense made several goal line stands and came away with a turnover on downs. Virginia Congressman Rob Whitman was on hand for the trophy presentation. It was a great day and a great way to end the regular season for the team. The Crusaders will once again compete in the NHFA National Tournament in Panama City Beach Florida from November 16th through the 20th.
