The Central Maryland Christian Crusaders for the first time in team history traveled to Panama City Beach Florida on November 19th 2014 to compete in the National Homeschool Football Tournament. On the first day of the tournament the Varsity team defeated HSAA Blue Angels from Dallas Texas 37-27. On Day two The Crusaders JV team competed against the Lighthouse Christian Chargers, and the MD Christian Saints and ended with a 3rd place finish. Finally on day three the Varsity team battled Acadiana Commandos from Acadiana Louisiana. The Crusaders won the game 25-14 to win the 2014 National Homeschool Bowl and their first ever National Bowl Game! For several seniors this was their last high school game and everyone on the team would agree this was a memory that will last a lifetime!
